Super Mario Rain Maker is an electro-mechanical arcade game that I developed with three other mechanical engineering students for a graduate level mechatronics class. I designed user feedback elements and Infrared (IR) emitter and receiver circuits, which incorporated photo-transistors, IR and color LEDs, and Schmitt triggers. I implemented the project's state machine, which involved developing the software in C to control the various mechanical subsystems and to respond to user interaction via analog and digital inputs.
